Hi! Sorry about this! The 44005RK-A is a popular kit. Battery light will many times end up being the alternator, but you will have to troubleshoot/ diagnose to verify. We can not diagnose symptoms here, but a good place to check that seems common is the red/white sense wire corrosion or damage between the battery junction box (picture attached) and alternator connector. This wire is hot at all times. If it is not or can not carry load then check the F23 fuse in the box and the wire. Also not uncommon for the battery junction box to be damaged with moisture / corrosion. Let us know what you found out !
